Seto city is located about 20 km northeast of Nagoya and it is famous for its pottery
production. There are many pottery studios creating new and innovative works, keeping
its tradition started over 1000 years ago.
Nagoya is situated in the center of Japan and the population is over 2 millions. There are
some nice tourists spots like Atsuta Shrine, Nagoya Castle, Osu shopping arcade, etc.
Shirakawago (world heritage)
Shirakawago is situated at north part of Gifu, a neighbor prefecture. It is famous for old
traditional houses. The area is surrounded by mountains and it is cool in summer but
very cold with heavy snow in winter. The houses are built for people to live in its strict
Ise-Shima is situated at southeast of Mie. In 2017 The G7 Summit was held here. There
is Ise Shrine, a huge aquarium, pearl culture, etc. and you can enjoy fresh and delicious
sea food including Ise Lobster.
